The Pitsco 36790 True Scale Home Framing Set provides students in grades 6-12 a hands-on activity to develop a scale model house that shows building and construction techniques and architectural principles, and it includes the Pitsco 36595 Lumberjack Cutter for cutting balsa wood strips. The package includes house prepare for a two-bedroom model house, balsa wood lumber, a designer's scale, pins, the Lumberjack Cutter, a foam base, glue, and 100-grit sandpaper. Guidelines are offered building the model house with either a truss or hipped roof to show either building and construction strategy. The model's completed measurements with either roof are roughly 10 x 27 x 21 (H x W x D). (H is height, the vertical distance from most affordable to acme; W is width, the horizontal distance from delegated right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back.) The package reinforces engineering, innovation, and math principles as students develop scale model house. A design house framing package is generally used in an instructional setting to show building and construction, architecture, and engineering techniques. The package includes

the Lumberjack Cutter, a precise cutting tool for cutting balsa wood approximately 1/8 inch thick and 3/4 inch large for building model structures. The cutter has metal bars that obstruct access to the blade to ensure security throughout use. To assist ensure precisely measured cuts, the cutter provides an integrated 12-inch ruler and angles marked at 10-degree increments from 0 to 90 degrees on its medium-density fiberboard (MDF) base. The cutter measures 8 x 14 inches, and needs basic single-edge razor blades (cutter is put together with one blade; replacement blades sold individually).

Construction needs a hammer, needle-nose pliers, waxed paper, and masking tape (all sold individually).

Science education items integrate used math and science concepts into classroom and homeschool-based projects. Teachers in pre-K, elementary, and secondary classrooms use science education sets and items alongside science, innovation, engineering, and math (STEM) curriculum to show STEM principles and real-world applications through hands-on activities. Science education projects consist of a broad variety of activities, such as useful experiments in engineering, aeronautics, robotics, energy, chemistry, physics, biology, and geology.Pitsco Education establishes K-12 science, innovation, engineering, and math (STEM) curriculum, educational sets, and classroom tools.
